Seminar registration includes luncheons at the hotel Monday-Wednesday. The Awards Luncheon is on Wednesday.
The hospitality room will open Sunday-Wednesday from 7-11PM

Tuesday, November 5, 8 AM to 5 PM:
The Overlooked Details in Unique Fire Causations
Instructors: Mr. Peter Layson, Mr. Josh Faircloth and Mr. David Cheers (Additional instructors to be announced)
This offering will be an interactive class with both lecture and hands-on aspects. The subject matter of this course will deal with unique fire causes that are frequently over looked and many times incorrectly identified. The student will gain a better understanding through hands on demonstrations and work stations as well actual case reviews involving many of the discussed causes. The course will also deal with artifact recognition, documentation and collection techniques utilized during various aspects of the investigation/examination process.
Wednesday, November 6, 8 AM to 12 PM:
Legal Issues in Fire Investigation
Speakers: Hillsborough County Judge Denise Pomponio, Attorney Joe Rich from Cozen O’Connor, Moderator Mr. David Cheers.
Topics to include Frye v Daubert, the standard between federal and Florida Daubert standards, report writing, what judges are looking for with expert reports, etc., This will be a panel discussion.

Vehicle Fire Investigation
Fires involving hybrid vehicle recent recalls.
