Complex Fire Investigation for the Insurance Industry

For the past 35-years the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have partnered to deliver this very unique training program. The program provides skill development for both criminal law enforcement and the insurance industry.
This week-long program embraces the best of adult-based, interactive learning. Students from around the world leave with new tools and skills that they can immediately apply to their work environment. A key highlight of the program is a practical exercise that takes small groups of students inside a real investigation to drive through the skill development from hands-on subject matter experts.
This dynamic program will include but not limited to:
The Internet of Things (IOT). Internet investigation techniques.
Civil vs. Criminal law. What are the differences?
Effective selection and use of fire experts.
Financial investigations.
Fire Science- ATF instructors. Live burns. Complex burn cells.
Fire Science and the law.
Visual Link Analysis. Timelines.
Case management on complex investigations.
Mock cross-examination.

Separately, IAAI will need your cell phone number to contact you while attending class.
All attendees will need two forms of ID at all times while on base.
A laptop is the only material you will need to bring for this class.

The schedule for Complex Fire is:
Sunday: Meet and Greet, Sunday, 6-8pm, Drury Hotel Conference Room
Monday: Meet at Gate 9 Visitor Center Parking Lot on the Redstone Arsenal Base by 6:30am for security admittance.
Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am - 5pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 9pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 5pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12pm
Registration Fee: $895.00 (USD)
Payment/purchase order must be received two weeks after registration.
Cancellation:
31 days prior to class start, September 3, 2021, all monies will be refunded.
After 30 days prior to class start, September 4, 2021 no refunds.
